Choropleth maps are the large category of maps that portray areal data and which those perspective areal divisions are often boundaries defined by units ( like counties, states or countries). This choropleth map shows the percentage of the 14 and under demographic age group in Canada. The census divisions are the areal units that this map uses as boundaries. The key shows how many of these divisions contain a certain amount of the 14 and under demographic.
