Black & white aerial photo emulsion will record only visible spectrum sensitive to approximately the same wavelengths as the human eye. This map shows downtown Johnstown in the 1950's. The distinction between buildings are not as pronounced as an infrared would show, but is seen as our eyes would distinguish them.
